Kevlar MT/R pricing... $220 sound good for a 35x12.50x15?
I'll be needing new MT/Rs soon and while I was getting tires for the wife's car, I asked the Discount Tire rep their price and he said he could do $220 each. Then he said perhaps less if I could find them elsewhere for less. I looked online and didn't see anything cheaper than that. I hate to spend the $$$ since they would be the 5th set of tires (the son screwed up one almost new set ) I've bought for our cars in the past 10 months.

Hello Jerry,
looking at the advertisements there are sources offering them for 200 bucks, but then and again, shipping/taxes and such are not always included. I don't know if the 220 a piece is all-inclusive?

Jerry, call them back and ask them when they can have them for you.

I hear you Larry and I asked him since I knew they have been hard to get. He said 3 days but he might have been blowing smoke.
And Iceman, that $220 was delivered plus tax. I'll have to look at my wife's bill on her new tires they installed for us Monday but I think the tire pricing I was quoted for her new Michelins included installation, valve stems, plus lifetime rotate and balance. If I go with them, I hope I remember to put into the bill of sale that they need to use the Road Force balancer on the MT/Rs which is more costly for them to use. Thanks guys. |
