ok we have 100# berries. 99# of which is water weight, and 1# is skin.
so we have 99# to work with here.
99#-1%=98.01%+the skin, and you are back at the 99.01#
or.... 1568.16 ounces +1# of skin.... puts us back to the 99.1#
hmmm?

Here is a hint: For tax reasons in berry storage facilities, they try to maximize the loss due to drying up that they show on the books.
