TJ tube fender progress pics.....
Well, I spent 16 hours Saturday working with a friend of mine on tube fenders for my TJ. He usually builds race cars, but we worked on my Jeep today. I cut off my flat fenders and went with 1.625" OD , .125 wall, HREW tubing for the project. I still have a lot to do, but I thought I'd share. I ended up removing my air box. I'll put a K&N in there. I have to re-mount my windshield washer res, replace my hood hold downs, coat the fenders/tubing with bedliner, re route some wiring, and several other things...but I'm really happy with the way that it turned out today, so here's a few pics. Looks awesome Dave!!! Do you sleep with the sawzall at your side at night? Haha. There won't be much sheet metal remaining when your done!
