FYI for anyone with MTRs and Discount Tire Warranty

You will be getting the new asymmetrical MTR if something happens to your current MTR.

At least according to my local discount tire guy that I just spoke with.

I'm not sure what that means with regards to mix and match, but there it is. (not to mention that the asymm MTR isnt' in stock yet).

There are also no current style MTRs available through normal distribution channels. I seem to have gotten the last one last week.

My store is trying to swap for one with other stores that have a couple in stock, but so far, no one wants to give any up.

That's easy... make sure "something" happens to the other 3 as well.

Well, there are no 35x12.50r15 Original style MTRs to be had from tires stores. At least not that I've seen.

I picked one up off craigslist though.

For anyone that is interested, http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst...090407462.html has one more brand new MTR in that size left for sale.
