flat skid installed now some ?'s Blaine

Well I had a few vibes like the hole for the york not big enough and the air tank hitting the t-case and the exaust contacting the upper arm.

It looks like I need to trim the front a little to allow drive shaft travel. but all in all no problems at least that I have fixed yet.

My question is is there a tranny mount that I can swap in that is a little shorter then the stock one cause this will fix the above stated problem if I can get the tranny a little lower I will be a lot better off.

and right now I am in 3 Deg pinion to low of my drive line angles so lowering the tranny will also help this.

Thanks

Scott- you need the "Blaine Special" tranny mount.

Basically you take the stock one and start shortening the u-shaped piece until you have about a 1/4" of clearance under the lowest part of your t-case. Weld it back together and away you go.

It is not who you know, It is who knows you
Jeeps do not make jeepers, jeepers make Jeeps.

another question.

how much space do you have between the front drive shaft and the skid?? Either stock or belly up.

Scott, what brand flat skid did you go with, or is it something of your own design?

it is a used one i picked up from someone that had an atlas and had it custome made. he switched it out to go totally flat this gives about a 2 inch lift I will get photos soon.

OH and all my problems are wrong my pinion is to high I can correct this with the adjustable uppers no tranny mount needed but had to move my air tank.

That would be great. I'm considering designing something and the more pics or info of different stuff the better.
