Help! My seat belt is stuck!

While out wheeling yesterday, we parked on a steep hill and my seat belt became dysfunctional. What should I do to prevent this from happening in the future?

Don't take your seatbelt out while on an incline )or decline for that matter). You could try putting some sort of clip on the belt to keep it from retracting so far that you cannot get it back on? Not sure how safe that would be though!

Basically you have two solutions:
[*] Replace the seatbelt retractor.
You can replace the retractor with one that uses velocity of the belt respooling and not jeep angularity to lock.
[*] Stick something on the belt itself to keep it from disappearing into the hungry month of the retractor.
You can buy a special plastic clip, and stick it on the seatbelt before going wheeling.

You should get the clip thing like on Mr. Blaine's Jeep.

Also, Stu Olson has the lap belt conversion.

I am doing this from home.
