ZJ Mopar Ski Rack

I have one brand new in a box that looks like it will work with the XJ but I cannot for the life of me figure out how it attaches on the lock/latch side of the rack. The rack uses the existing roof rack as the base and clamps for the hold down mechanisms/arms. Since its new in the box, I am assuming all the parts are there but the latch side setup is not making itself apparent to me and there are no directions. Anybody with any idea on this gets a coldie on me

Robert, there should be 4 rubber isolated brackets that mount around the factory crossbars on that setup, if it is a newer model..

mount those and the base for the ski rack and the upper top piece ratchets over the posts and down onto the skis holding them in place with a clamping motion.

Thats the thing - there doesn't appear to be a base but the box was fully packed. Hmmmmm.
