Specialty Products Company Ball Joint tool

So Blaine, How did you actually get one of these units?

For the last few days, I have been trying to get ahold of one of the Specialty Products presses....

It seems like Specialty Products may have some good stuff.... but apparently, they haven't figured out that people might try to *buy* their stuff.....

Their website is about useless unless you have specific part #'s.

They have a bunch of phone numbers that are wrong -- like too many digits on the #....... Phone #'s Aren't supposed to go like this:
(123) 234-456778

The distributor info is old and out of date...

Then you call them up for a place to buy one.... these little companies who you have never heard about who don't stock their stuff or don't sell retail either... and no national chains that *sell tools*, tool trucks, etc.

I guess I will stick with Tool Truck/OTC stuff.

Best regards

John

My all time favorite sig was "It's not who you know, it's who knows you".

Moot for this instance though. I didn't pick Specialty for any reason, I just went in to my undercar supplier and requested a quality balljoint press. They said to give them a couple of days and they'd get one from their supplier.

I did, they did, I gave them money and took the press home.

If you want to give them a try, and I make no promises, talk to Bill, Ron, or Chris at South County Brake Supply- 949-582-5359, tell them I sent you and use the "Blaine's Jeep Guys" cash account for a slight discount.

I'd believe it.

Did I ever tell you about the time Blaine took me out to go get a drink with him? We go off looking for a bar and we can't find one. Finally Blaine takes me to a vacant lot and says, 'Here we are.' We sat there for a year and a half and sure enough someone constructs a bar around us. The day they opened we ordered a shot, drank it, and then burned the place to the ground. Blaine yelled over the roar of the flames, 'Always leave things the way you found em!

He orchestrated the merger between Unicef and Smith & Wessen.

Blaine ranked 18th in the AP College Football Pool.

He framed Roger Rabbit.

I once saw him scissor kick Angela Lansbury.
