Virginia Update #2
An offer will soon be made for a lot right off of Lake Anna which is 25 miles Southwest of Fredericksburg and about 2 hours South of DC. It's not a waterfront lot, as I'm not rich, but if I walk about 1/8 of a mile down my street, I can toss a line in the water and kill a few hours. Nobody can build to the left of me due to a creek, and nobody can build behind me.
 It's further South than we wanted to go, but the area is unbelieveable, almost "resort" like, the lot and "subdivision" are very nice, and having a deeded boatslip on said lake and a state park nearby sealed the deal. A floor plan has been selected, as a builder as well. Hope to be there by June with construction beginning in July. I can't wait, nor can my wife. Allen

Great news, you're tyring to move east and I'm looking to get the hell out.
 I'd love to do a little meet and greet road trip when you get into the area and get situated. I'm not sure how my life will be by that time (I've begun to look at finally getting out of here) but if I'm still around, then maybe a Paragon run or just meeting up could be in the future.

That puts you about 3 hours from me. Phew...I thought I'd have you following me around all the time, but with that much time between us maybe I'll get some rest.
 Sounds like a nice area. Virginia is a beautiful state; it also thinks it's still part of the Confederacy.  Do have work lined up already?

Congrats Allen. I used to live in Charlottesville, VA and boated on Lake Anna many times. It is a very nice area. My wife and I have since moved to Winston-Salem, NC area.

nice glad to see someone is getting out of this crap hole while they still can. Look ya move away as soon as the rock garden gets built.
