89YJ Dana30 TrueTrac
OK. I am in the middle of changing gears to 4.10 in the front. We did the rear last week. Piece of cake?. Tonight we began the front. I am also installing a TrueTrac in the stock front Dana30.
Question?? When we were checking things out on the floor we noticed that the front TrueTrac did not have a "window" to put the retaining "c" clip on the inner right shaft (I have the stock split right shaft). I verified that I had the correct TrueTrac part number. After evaluating the situation looks like if we put a ~.250 thick spacer in the TrueTrac (there is a ~.125 washer in the middle of the TruetTrac) things should work OK. This should put the inner axle shaft were it is suppose to be. Any suggestion? Is there an aftermarket spacer? Thanks
