Lost ships of Borrego...
Tales have been told of a Spanish galleon that got lost in the Borrego desert...
After all California was considered an island. Could a ship actually get lost 400 years ago?...In Borrego??? Ok heres goes Britain..let me check this out! Heres the Rumor Link http://www.klaxo.net/hofc/other/lostship3.htm Is there a ship out here?....Perhaps But with some investigation I did determine that a ship of Spanish registry became grounded. But the location placed it to far west, it was placed in the mountains or close to the base of that mountain. What mountain?? ahhhh my find.... You have seen some of my hiking pictures. A while ago a got wind of a petroglyph....one with a boat on it. From what I could research about it , it was about 400 years old. Took a bit of time but I found it.  Nuff said
