My TJ lost a few lbs tonight........

My TJ lost about 35-40lbs. tonight My old 3/8" cable weighed in at 33lbs, and the roller fairlead about 12.5lbs. I forgot to weigh it, but I installed my new Amsteel Blue 3/8" x 125' line, aluminum fairlead, and hook tonight. I'm still a little unsure about the ropes, but I'm gonna give it a try Besides keeping my new rope clean, are there any things I should do to keep it nice? Any feedback would be great.

Thanks!

When I am not wheelin' I keep mine covered to try to avoid some UV damage. Mine (X Line) has a UV protectorant but I think it is a good idea to keep it covered up anyway.
