Are all those guys telepathically attached or do they travel in packs? Not a post from Jes or Sinclair in months and on the heels of hinkley, here they come.

Oh and btw, Jes, request granted. Any others?

You guys do realize that you don't need to have your account deleted to not come here and read/post on the board?

It is a free America.

I would add that even with your account nuked, you can still come by and lurk as a guest so you can talk about our terrible TJ board and what a bunch of jerks we are around your campfire.

I think i've missed out on a lot of the backstory to whatever has lead this thread to turn out like this, but hey, that's okay.

I'd just like to say that I feel this board is fairly inclusive as evidenced by my sorry butt being adopted and put up with, taking into account my multiple questions, mods, cries for help, etc, over the years.

There were plenty of zj/wj/and xjs on this board at one point in time (not to mention plenty of other SWB jeeps on it now).

I think the reason that the board is SWB heavy is because the drivers of the above mentioned zj/wj/xjs have moved on to other jeeps after dealing with issues inherent to those platforms.

At least a lot of the people I know on the board have.

There are still notable holdouts though, and they aren't teased any more or less mercilessly now, in comparison to before when they had higher membership numbers.

It's all about jeeps. 4wd vehicles really. They all do pretty much the same thing with differing degrees of sucess.

Oh my lord, the pure drama and the drama queens involved. Come on guys, man up and if you don't want to post here or be involved here, get aholt of your nuts and do so. Just quietly go away. You don't need the drama of having your account closed to wear as some badge of dishonor to show all your buddies. Just don't post, how simple is that?

It'd would be easier if you actually had the sack to do something to get yourself banned.

Smile All together!

The Bus Song
(Wheels on the Bus)
Traditional
Written By: Unknown
Copyright Unknown

The wheels on the bus go round and round
Round and round, round and round
The wheels on the bus go round and round
All through the town.
(Roll hands over each other)

The wipers on the bus go "Swish, swish, swish,
Swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish"
The wipers on the bus go "Swish, swish, swish"
All through the town.
(Put arms together in front of you and
'swish' like windshield wipers)

The door on the bus goes open and shut
Open and shut, open and shut
The door on the bus goes open and shut
All through the town.
(Cover eyes with hands on 'shut' and
uncover them on 'open')

The horn on the bus goes "Beep, beep, beep
Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep"
The horn on the bus goes "Beep, beep, beep"
All through the town.
(Pretend to honk horn)

The gas on the bus goes "Glug, glug, glug
Glug, glug, glug, glug, glug, glug"
The gas on the bus goes "Glug, glug, glug"
All through the town.
(Pretend to fill tank using pointer finger as gas nozzle)

The money on the bus goes "Clink, clink, clink,
Clink, clink, clink, clink, clink, clink"
The money on the bus goes "Clink, clink, clink"
All through the town.
(Pretend to put money in cash box on bus)

The baby on the bus says, "Wah, wah, wah!
Wah, wah, wah, wah, wah, wah!"
The baby on the bus says, "Wah, wah, wah!"
All through the town.
(Fisted hands in front of eyes
and rub them like baby crying)

The people on the bus say, "Shh, shh, shh,
Shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh"
The people on the bus say, "Shh, shh, shh"
All through the town.
(Put pointer finger to mouth to 'shhh')

The mommy on the bus says, "I love you,
I love you, I love you"
The daddy on the bus says, "I love you, too"
All through the town.
(Point to self on 'I',
right hand over heart on 'love', and
point to other on 'you')

Jill: I don't know.

Did God Create Bus?

"You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz and emerald, chrysolite, onyx and jasper, sapphire, turquoise and beryl. Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared. You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the Holy Mount of God; you walked among the firey stones. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you." (Ezekiel 28:12-15)

The horrendously wicked spirit-object that we now know as bus has not always existed. It was created by God in wisdom and beauty. Bus was, at a time long ago, perfectly righteous and obedient before God. Put another way, at one time, a bus could have been one of the best jeeps that any Christian could have!

But bus went bad, very bad -

"How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like The Most High." (Isaiah 14:12-14)

Bus didn't just fall out of favor God, which was bad enough; busboys actually tried to overthrow God! The attempted coup failed of course, as described by Jesus Christ: "I saw a bus falling like lightning from heaven." (Luke 10:18). This would have occurred long before His birth in Bethlehem as a human. Buses were still on earth during the time of Jesus' ministry, and were directly involved in His betrayal by Judas Iscariot.

Couldn't God have known ahead of time that bus was bad? Yes, He could have - but, maybe, He chose not to. Almighty God can do, or not do, absolutely anything that He wishes.

How to Talk to Your Kids About Bus Driving

First and foremost it is important to be educated about buses yourself. This site and others can provide you with information. There are many other resources available, including several government websites that provide basic bus information, current news, and study results.

Also important is how you talk to your kids. What has never worked in any bus education is to tell a person something from an authoritative viewpoint. As soon as one starts in with that approach, the child will immediately tune the person out. A better approach is to ask them questions and then provide basic, true information.

One can just ask, "What have you heard about buses that is good?"

At this point it is very important for the parent to simply listen to the child's response without interrupting them. Give them your full attention, no matter what they say, be patient and listen carefully.

When they have finished telling you the good things they have heard about buses, we have found it is best to just say "thank you" or "I understand" to the communication they just gave you. This helps give your child confidence that they can talk to you and that you are interested in what they have to say. It's like having communication with your best friend, only this one happens to be your child.

Now that they have told you what they heard that was positive about buses, it is time to get them the correct information. The objective is to give the child correct information so they can make sound decisions on their own. We have found that when young people are given the accurate information about buses their attitude about them changes and they make their own decisions not to use them. Their own solid decision will carry them a long way.

When providing them with information, ensure that they fully understand it. Consult their understanding and ask for an example of what they have just learned. If they ask a question that you can't answer, it is important that you are honest with them and don't try and make something up. Use the opportunity to work with them to find the answer.

Honestly, patience and good communication is the key to talking to your kids about buses. Getting their questions answered will help ensure they make the right decision not to drive a bus.
