Bad snit

Seen this plane on a desert runway. Wonder what happened? Looks like the front wheel collapsed . Wonder how this is compare to an Auto accident?

Ouch...

Looks like he did a fine job on the gear up landing (walked away I presume). If he had only been able to stop the prop before impact... Prop striking runway means mandatory engine replacement

Many years ago I owned a C 150. On one of the annuals had to replace the windows...then re-weigh it. Cost a bunch the following year the engine came due...I sold...thats was one expensive hobby.

Well she's up on 3 wheels. I think this was not a landing issue. Looks more like the front gear collasped. No skids on runway. Not enough damage to under carriage.

Though there is some wing tip damage also. I have a feeling this isnt reported. Sure was a nice plane

Who would have thought.
A "no camping" sign next to a runway...

Great juxtaposition.
