For when it just has to match.

Do you think they make a finish that comes with brush scratches already in it, so it blends with the rest of the finish?
In the near future I'm going to build a thingy for the back of my Jeep and carry more stuff. http://www.stu-offroad.com |

You need to be able to add a "-XX" to the part number, to account for "XX" years of never waxing and oxidation......

Stu and Jeff,
Let me introduce to the Shiny Jeep Fetish Guy some time. He can give you pointers on how to maintain your Jeep to the proper level of shiny. (Half of the fun is getting the scratches, the other half is polishing them out). Kat |

By the way, I got a really nice complement today at the 4x4 shop. The guy doing my diffs was taking one of the MT/Rs off the rear axle. He looks up at me and says "You got a pretty clean Jeep, but I can see you really do use it." I just smiled Deep down, I knew that there was no trace of Shiny Boy Jeep Fetish (what ever it was) left in my soul! Kat,
Nice link to some good fluff! I took my family up some trails in Lytle Creek today & we earned a few extra scratches to the windows. Seems I always figure out a way to get too close to the brush that grows up around these places. Maybe I need some driving lessons!

Question for Joe
Do you find that you get more scratches on the passenger side of your Jeep? Blaine always rubs my side of the Jeep against the bushes/shrubs more, but it's better than ripping off my mirror. And just check out my front fender, which side has taken more abuse? Is it that way with all Jeeps? If so, I can reckon why the wives want to stay home!

I bet that two rattle cans of color-matched paint would be enough to do all four of you fender flares. About $60.00
What do you think? Side benefit: you could use the rest as touch-up paint for the trail flares. |

I am actually thinking about matching the rest of my jeep to white Hammerite...
The factory paint job on my jeep was a bad joke, anyways...
