rear swaybar question

i can find more info than i ever need on front swaybar disconnects, cheap mods, aftermarket mods, and i do understand it's purpose both on-road and off.

i have quick disconnects on both my 97TJ and my 95XJ. but i was wondering. how come i can't find any info on the rear?
the only thing i can find is to get rid of the rear swaybar on the xj since some of them didn't come with them.

but what do you do offroad when you disconnect the front on either jeep? do you leave the rear on, are there some type of disconnects for them? should i take them off of both of the jeeps?

any advice or recommendations?

If you disconnect the rear anti-sway bar on a TJ you will start loosing springs. And you will, obviously, get much more sway.

Leave the rear swaybar alone.

Obviously you'll need extended links for a lift, and if they're still around, avoid the TK Sliders for the rear.

The reason you don't find info or kits for disconnecting the rear antiswaybar on a TJ is that it shouldn't be disconnected. Disconnecting the rear antiswaybar would add no useful gain in articulation while it would add a whole lot of instability on extremely offcamber or extremely steep trails.

the XJ is different from the TJ in the way that it has leavesprings and therefore the rear antiswaybar is not as useful as on a coil sprung TJ
