Can one of you conversion experts ID these spindles for me?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1846179506

In the ad the only axle that is listed is D30 from XJ or YJ.

The spindles have only 3 bolts. This is telling me they are not a factory spindle but I thought I would ask you guys too.

TIA
Collin

I know of only two 3 bolt spindles and they are both made by Warn for the TJ/ZJ/XJ/YJ style knuckle.

They are both dimensionally the same with the only difference being a recess at the base of the snout for the seal on the bigger kit.

The smaller kit looks like the one in the pic with a raised area for the seal instead of being recessed.

I can venture a good guess as to why you see that accumulation of parts.

Someone did a hub conversion on a YJ with the older non heat treated spindles. They had a problem and called Warn with it. Early on in the swap Warn did not require you to send back the old spindles as proof they were bad, they do now.

So what you see are the left-over parts from the original swap and the bad pieces when Warn sent out the new spindles.

In any event, those spindles do not look heat treated.

Cool, I think I will take them.

Maybe with any luck I can trade them in to Warn for treated ones.

Thanks for the help and I will keep an eye out for this disco parts.

What would this new project be anyway?
