Would you not buy it if it did? Think about it - it came off a coal cart so maybe it will match your new front springs

i am quite sure that chris o's 30 does NOT have the vacuum disconnect. he retubed the housing with some 3/8 tube, or something like that. if i remember correctly.

Yeah, the vacuum activated 4WD is the hotness in those D30s.

You're saying the housings are the same exact size, thickness, strength, etc as well then?

Ya, Ya, Ya......

Us black sheep can handle it, come on, dish some more out! At least I have some round rear springs!

John,
Email me and we'll talk about price for the housing.

My D30 housing does have the disco, but I've got the block-off plate installed. The Warn shafts were TJ pieces.

I beefed the stock (2.50OD) tubes with 3" O.D. x .250 wall tube by spliting it in two halves and rossett-welding them to the stock tubes.

Jays89YJ,
No I never said that the D44 housings were the same as a D30. I always refered to the center sections. Yes, the D44 housings are beefy, no doubt.

Chris, I was asking for Brian. It's something we talked about on Saturday since Robert never showed up with the damned coconut.

thanks John and Chris, I think I'd be better off with an xj housing though.
