Big Brake kit - before I oder...

I have read all the threads (special thanks to Blaine and SilverXJ to keep it entertaining.... ) and I don't think I've any showstoppers, but just to confirm;

HP30 w/Warn small hub kit (TJ knuckles)
Currie Steering
Rear Drums (will do discs for ease of maint later this year)
Current aftermarket Gambler wheels (beadlocks by summer)

Are there any potential clearance issues with wheels?

TIA....

Scott

Yes, there is a potential clearance issue. Minor, but it still exists. Maybe Quinn can chime in. His shop seems to have the largest variety of stock rims around. Hopefully he has a set or one that he can try for us.

My gamblers aren't stock. they have a bit more backspacing, but I'd have to measure them again to get the exact depth. IIRC it's 3.75"...

With 3.75" of backspacing, they have a bit less backspacing than the factory wheels do that generally have 5.5" of backspacing. No guarantee but with that reduced amount of backspacing, you should have no clearance issues.

I have the brake kit with the OEM Canyons.

I had to add 1.25" spacers to clear the calipers, netting me 4.25" inches of backspacing.

At 3.75", my guess is that you will be fine.
