Error Codes

Hi all,
I am new to the forum (glad I found it) and I need some help.
I have a '02 Wrangler and my engine light came on. I am getting a P1486 error code. I have not been able to find any info on current error codes for this model in order try and fix the problem myself or take it in. Any help is much appreciated.

The '99 TJ manual describes the code P1486, as:

Evap Leak Monitor Pinched Hose Found

LDP has detected a pinched hose in the evaporative hose system.

LDP stands for "Leak Detection Pump". For more information on how LDP system works, you may find this document usefull (starting from page 7):

Thank you HTH, that is what I had suspected.

Any thoughts on how I can clear or reset the engine light?

Disco the battery for a bit and that'll reset it.
