An auxillary on-off/volume switch for your radio?

I didn't put it in the "FLUFF" section, so it must have some redeeming JEEPING value....

I vote for an auxiliary engine idle control for elevating rpm's when winching.

HINT.........

It may be the "missing link" in our continuing search for more power (that stays) in the 4.0L.

Hmmmm... fuel air mixture control

Or perhaps a cooling sending unit adjuster to set or set that they can set the temprature to what they want..

I am doing this from home.

Wumpy ALMOST wins!!!!

It is an IAT sensor controller, you can control the "outside air temp" that the computer "see's".

It supposedly will allow you to adjust the timing advance and fuel/air ratio.

All the performance mod's we have been doing address only airflow increases (intake and exhaust) and hotter spark. You need more fuel and the ability to adjust the timing to take advantage of these mod's.

This kit uses a rheostat to change the resistance (air temperature) of the signal from the IAT sensor to the computer. The switch allows you to disco it back to stock.

I hope to be able to find a setting (or 2) that will enhance performance by allowing the computer to take advantage of our air flow improvements.

Here's a link, they only cost $35..........

HB,
I was going to guess that it was something to control the automatic - are you still looking for a way to get the lockout feature disabled for 1 gear low?

Robert,
The lockup thing will probably be a winter project, I only do easy stuff in the summer that don't take much time, 'cuz I try to spend as much time as possible with my kids while they're out of school.

oh no problem there and completely understood about the kids being out of school - I had heard from Blaine that you were going over this problem and it picked my interest being a fellow automatic driver wannabe

HB,

Wumpy and I are the same. I use that one at home as I forgot my password once and the name stuck.

You also know me on JU as William.
