ZJ Rear Disc Conversion - Currie Hose # Needed Attn Blaine & Stu

ZJ Rear Disc Conversion Currie Hose # Needed Attn Blaine & Stu

Hi Blaine, Hi Stu,

I am collecting all the parts I need to do the Bolt-On ZJ Disc Brake Conversion for my 97 TJ Super D35 c-clip.

Blaine, on your advice I have salvaged everything from the axle plate mounting brackets outward off a 98 ZJ, including good emergency brake cables.

I have all parts sand blasted and painted. I am using rebuilt calipers, new discs and new emergency brake inner parts.

What I need to know, if you have it is the Currie Part number for the brake hose (from caliper to brake hardline, and bracket if any) you guys used when you did your conversions.

Do either of you have this handy?

Is there anyone in particular I should ask to speak to at Currie?

hope to do this project in a week or two and would like to have everything ready to go.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Frank

Frank- Call Currie and ask for Nick Pathiakis. 714-528-6957. Ask for the hose kit for the Explorer rear disc conversion. Comes with clips to weld to the axle tubes, clips for them, hoses, banjo bolts, and copper sealing washers.

Tell Nick that I sent you and could have picked them up for you, but I didn't want to have to see him again.

It is impossible to ascertain the value of something until you have paid for it a few times.

Thanks Blaine, as always I appreciate your help, and I assure you I will jerk Nick's chain the appropriate amount for you.

FYI,

If anyone else wants to do this conversion and you need the Currie Hose Kit Blaine described above, the Currie part # is 6013 and cost is $36.95.

Kit has all the parts above for both rear brakes.

Once again, thanks for your help Blaine.
