I'm scheduled to be in Everett, Washington for 5 weeks begining November 15th. So it looks like I won't be going to JV this Thanksgiving unless something major happens.

You folks have fun.

I dunno but I just invited Congressman Duncan Hunter Jr. & his dad (former Congressmant Duncan Hunter Sr.) out to JV again when I ran into him at a San Diego Navy/small business conference Thursday. He said he was still interested, we lost steam last year but I don't think it's too late to get his support.

Call me if you'll have a weekend free when you're up here. I'll treat you to a NW trail ride.

Looks like this has turned into the JV Turkey-Day run thread...

Since you've brought the subject up, Ann and I plan on trying to attend this year. I just have to get the bugs worked out of my suspension, and the get the steering upgraded, and the brakes upgraded, and .....

Sounds good Larry. I'll have a rental car with unlimited mileage, and should have a few weekends that I'm not at sea, so it should work out.

I have another Jeeper friend who use to be on my last ship with me who lives in Tacoma. Perhaps he'd like to tag along as well with his YJ. FWIW, he often hangs with the Cascade4x4 club.

Joe,

Make sure that rental car is a H3 or a Cherokee. I'm sure Larry can show you some good wheeling spots.

My brother and I took a rental caddy duck hunting once. Should have seen the guys face when I turned it in all muddy and full of corn dust on the inside.

I am sooo ready for Thanksgiving in JV! I plan on making it a very long week...

Life and work have been out of control this year. A solid week in JV should set everything right

Hmmm...

Now that I think about it, I might get some billable R&D hours over Thanksgiving
