My Progress

Granted this isn't a Jeep but it sure is fun to play around with.
This is what I started with.

Propane installed

2" shackle reversal

Ditched the SR and did spring over with stock springs

Spring over with rear springs up front

Next will be CJ front springs in the rear and power steering.

1988.6 Suzuki Samurai, Propane Injected, locked at both ends, 6.5-1 tcase, 5.13's in the axles and 31 TSL radials.

If you were to compare your 'Zuk to a TJ in the rocks like in your pics Al, what would you say is your Zuk's biggest benefit? Its smaller size and reduced weight?

Definately the size and weight. The Jeep would go through that but it took up a lot more area.

What do you think you have in it money wise - including the cost of the vehicle.

Just a ballpark figure.

PS - are you running those tires at street pressure!

I was going to ask where your winch was, then I saw him standing on that rock. Is he really that big or is your rig really that small?

both. Actually he thought he could help. It didn't, I wasn't stuck, with wet tires, it slipped off the wall. The winch will be coming soon then I'll give a hollar about joining you in JV for a run or 2.

That's amazing Al, a great trail rig for only $5k. That reminds me of what the owner of a very trail capable Scout said during a conversation right after I got my rear Dana 44 axle and Detroit Locker installed... "You have more in your rear axle than I have in my entire rig".
