Baja Hwy 2
Couple weeks ago Erick and Brian and I ran DC. We pulled over to a rest stop just outside El Centro and I pointed out to Erik the Baja mountain range and just barely the MX hwy 2 coming down from the Rumerosa. You can also see Superstion mountain in some.
Just leaving the last toll both from the Rumerosa , about a mile you come to this turn. It is facing into the Salten sea. My personal camera is Canon my work is Nikon. When I travel this Hwy I always take a camera. Its a real nasty turn. Altitude here is about 5000. Something is always going over! Heres the rest of the shots. Some are well adjusted cause i didnt pay attention to my p filter. http://britain.connectnet.com/Photog...WY2/index.html Today coming back from TJ a semi went over. I'll post those shots tomorrow. It is a fun road to travel on. Would like to have my ole Susuki pocket rocket and run it! There are below some real tasty canyons for ........... |

Yes, yes, yes. Great mood: thank you for sharing. One of these days, when I grow a pair of big balls and/or learn Spanish, I want to drive the Rodovia R?gis Bittencourt also known as Rodovia da Morte, or Highway of Death.

Sergey.....how about the El Camino Del Diablo that runs between Ajo and Yuma? I've heard that is a pretty interesting 150 mile stretch of desert road

Today while coming back from TJ we ended up seeing the traffic control guys again. We slowed down and went into this sharp turn. Jeeze there was cars everywhere and in every position. Fawk I say must be bad accident. Na 2 of those double high car movers. One jack knifed the other through up its load down the mountain. Had to wait to get to bottom of hill to take pics. There were loading those spilled cars which could be reached onto flat beds. Those truck drivers are lik lemmings.
Hooker headers any one. Stumbled on the TJ plant manufacturing those. The back yard was heeped with them. At least a 20ft pile. Took this pics from the bottom of the hill at a tool and die shop. Dont think I'll by hooker headers. You can see some of the chrom ones pile into the fence. |
