Day Run

Directions:
From the Mira Mesa area: 15 N Exit Scripps/Poway Parkway Turn East on Scripps Pkwy. Turn left on 67. Go through Ramona then take Hwy 78 to
Santa Ysabel. From Santa Ysabel take 79 north toward Warner Springs. As you enter Warner Springs turn east on Camino San Ignatio. Follow the road several miles to the reservation pay station. After paying the entrance fee continue up the hill to the main campground. (Get a map at the pay station.).

From El Cajon: Take 67 North to Ramona, then 78 East to Santa Ysabel then north on 79 to Camino San Ignatio. . Follow the road several miles to the reservation pay station. After paying the entrance fee continue up the hill to the main campground. (Get a map at the pay station.).

Everyone should gas up in Santa Yasbel or at the Warner Springs

Required Equipment:
Minimum 31" Tires, Lift and at least 1 traction device is preferred (limited slip or locker)
CB ?Fire Extinguisher ?First Aid Kit, Full size spare & suitable jack - Tow Strap And Tow Attachments FRONT and REAR

Run Schedule
We will depart from the stone water tank in the main camp ground at 8:30am Saturday. The run will be an ? day run. We will eat lunch on the trail! Make sure to bring water or drinks!

Run Decription
This will be a Semi-difficult run. As with any type of trail there is a possibility of body damage. Los Coyotes is a smorgasborg of off
road terrain, with obstacle difficulty ranging from "Piece of cake!" to "Please, Lord, get me through this!"

I dunno. I made it around alright when I was there last and I only had 225/75R15 street tires. I did have a limited slip though.

And, truth be told, I did hold up the group on more than one occasion tring to get over an obstacle.

Have fun out there. Since I'm now about 1,300 miles away, I doubt I'll be able to make it.

I don't think a limited slip and that size tire will quite get you up this one though.

That guy on the right behind the bus is me. I was also the guy at camp that helped you shift your bus into 4wd. I was also the guy that picked up a few chunks of plastic from your taillight.

Yes. Blaine. Very true. That was my first wheeling trip in the bus and who'd have that I would be coming down tobaggon run. At the time I was more worried about the Manzinita scratching my paint.
