I'll be in Albuquerque for the Balloon Festival - otherwise I'd probably be working our booth.

Is that the Toyota Expo at Pomona? I'd like to check it out. And to see friends of-course.

Does anybody want to share a room on Friday night?

As long as we don't end up at two different shows, I don't care what it is called.

Do you plan to get tickets at the gate? If anybody had discounted tickets let me/us know.

Sign up, everybody! It's going to be a fun Saturday. I plan to drive up from San Diego on Friday night and stay somewhere nearby. If anybody wants to fly in on Friday night, I can pick you up from San Diego, LAX, or one of the smaller airports around.

If folks want to consider having dinner after the show on Saturday - let me know. I'd be happy to offer up the BBQ.

I usually get my tickets at the gate.

I haven't seen all of you guys in a long time.

I may be in. Need to check the schedule (ask the wife) and see if I'm doing anything that weekend.

Stop by my booth, I plan on having Mr Blaine himself work it. Although he keeps telling me to go to...Anyways I'll be there. I'll see if I can get cheaper tickets, I never asked.

Note: 12 bucks to get in, they have 2 dollar coupons. I'll have some but it's not exciting. This show is starting to **** me off. I usually get 8-10 badges free that allow more access and give them to employees and family/friends. They will only allow me 4, period they won't change their minds. Badges are 20 bucks, so it's actually cheaper to buy the damn tickets.

I have a room booked at the Shilo Inn - Ontario-Diamond Bar (Pomona). Check-in: Friday night, October 06, 2006. The hotel address is 3200 W Temple Ave, Pomona, CA 91768

If anybody wants to bunk with me before going to the show, let me know.

Question

I some quick questions about what to expect at the show:

1) Will there be a security check. In other words, do I need to leave all suspicious items at home, or can I bring stuff with me?
2) Is the exposition located mostly inside, mostly outside, or both? I want to know what to wear, should I be prepared for rain, do they usually crank the air conditioners up so a sweater is required, or is it hot as hell?
3) Are there opportunities to grab food inside?
4) Do exhibitors sell anything at the show worth taking a notice, or is it strictly a show, show?
5) Is parking no problem for oversized vehicles?

Thanks

Mostly inside, but there are some exhibits outside. I've worn shorts and never been too cold. I think your favorite blue-striped shirt ought to keep you comfortable.
3) Are there opportunities to grab food inside? Yes, but bring your own petroleum jelly lube when it comes time to pay. They have pizza, burgers, hot dogs and booze available.
4) Do exhibitors sell anything at the show worth taking a notice, or is it strictly a show, show? Many do sell things there. I picked up my radiator at the show a few years back.
5) Is parking no problem for oversized vehicles? The parking lot is huge and is no problem for large vehicles. That said, prepare to walk a pretty good distance to the tram if you get there later in the day.

Thanks
Have Fun!
