Good transmission place
Any one know of a tranny place you can trust in the LA area. My boss has a 4runner and may have loss first gear syncro, he went to dealer and they want 1000.00 to just open it up.
 01 Sport, Auto, Silverstone , D44 with Trac-Lok and 3.73:1 ,Harry B Sux, Tera S3T 3" Lift, Currie steering box brace, Currie steering damper, Bilstein Shocks, GY MTR 33x1250-15 on rockcrawler Rims, Sun Performance rocker skids.

Years ago I used aamco on Cherry near Market in Long Beach got a new/rebuilt tranny for 450.00 in a el-camino with lifetime warrenty. they replaced it after I toasted it from power breaking to do burn outs.
if they still offer liftime warrenty I would use them again. a little TJ with a few mods check her out at www.real-jeeps.com
