The Currie kit is a tighter triangle then that with a narrower base - and not made entirely of tube. I have no idea if you cut less, but from the brief look I got compared to the Poly pictures I would say you do. I'm pretty sure the Currie kit welds on as well.

If you are seeing a "kit" jeff please post a link) is that they put the top eye 8 inches above the top of the frame rail. this would keep them just under my fender with the body lift. Thus the 12" insted of 14". I'd still probably order springs from dave, maybe limiting straps.

got a close up look at an install of the currie towers today. still a bit to much fender cutting, don't feel like moving the stuff I'd have to move. the Fox shox will be just fine.
