Driveshaft length differences for 32RH vs. AX-15?

Though easily determined once the AX-15 is out and laying next to the 32RH, it'd be good to know the driveshaft length changes needed ahead of starting the conversion. That way I can have them modified ahead of time and reinstall them the same weekend of the conversion.

Does anyone know pretty closely in inches how much the front and rear driveshaft lengths will need to be lengthened/shortened when converting to the 32RH?

I re-used the rear without any issues when I did this swap Jerry, but the front is a smaller diameter for the auto. I picked one up locally as I recall.

Oh that's right, I forgot about the auto's smaller front driveshaft diameter. Just one more thing to have to take care of, thanks Larry. I can't figure out why the automatic would have a smaller diameter driveshaft up front since it's the t-case it connects to, it must be a clearance thing. Oh well.

Any reason a used front driveshaft for 2000 TJ with a 4.0L and automatic wouldn't be a direct bolt-in swap for my '97? The rear driveshafts have differences like from the use harmonic balancers etc. so newer shafts won't fit older trannies, is that the case with the front too?

I found one on eBay for $99 plus shipping... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OEM-F...spagenameZWDVW

Based on a conversation with Blaine, I bought that driveshaft from eBay. It was a smoking deal compared to everything else I found.

Jerry, I have a couple driveshafts laying around. I had them as spares. I didn't even see this until today.
