Welcome, Eh?
Don't be shy, tell us a bit about your Jeep and experiences. What do you use your Jeep for? etc.

I just got my Jeep in November. It's a 2004 TJ Sahara. I love it. I was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix leather and all - gave up the 'luxury' for a toy. I have no regrets!
My 3.5 year old son loves it too!
It's awesome in the snow. Have only been through a few fields so far. I have found a few trails that I'm anxious to hit.

A very "warm" welcome to you Jeep Mom.

It's always a pleasure to have another Jeep Lady join the Forum.

We have JeepKat and Wind Danzer and others here already.

But be forwarded, this place has an effect on you.

Sooner or later the urge to travel to Sunny Southern California to go wheeling will get to you. (Read that; It's warm and your son would love it!)

Welcome,

Frank

Welcome from one JC to another!!!

I grew up across the lake from you in Youngstown New York. Spent 18 years of my life there and then heard the call of the west. Welcome aboard.

Wow, is everyone living out West?

I went searching for Jeep clubs in and around Toronto, ON and came up empty. Now that I'm online here, it seems that all the Jeep owners have indeed gone west!

I have a few comments to make, actually even if I could receive some feedback - I seem to be living at the gas station - I know fuel efficiency and Jeeps just don't jive..I'm having to fill up at 260 kms. I'm all city driving too.

I have a headlight that seems to only last 2,000 km - odd, isn't it? Again, I only have 2,000 km on it.

Not EVERYONE on here is from out west. I'm from just south of the Mason-Dixon line in Maryland. I've seen quite a few Canadians come down to Paragon Adventure Park in Pennsylvania. It's a bit of a drive, but there's plenty of good wheeling there.

Welcome aboard and enjoy your stay.

I forget my metric translation - how far in miles is 260km? As for your headlight, have you checked for shorts?

Though I'm in Ontario I'm about 1000 miles north west of you.

Try this bulletin board out...it's basically all Southern Ontario Jeepers
Jeep Kings

tell them that Cutch sent you and if they stll talk to you then you know they are good people or poor judges of character

Hi Jeep mom,

I'm another Jeep mom from central California. I have some friends that live in Canada. They like it but also state that it is very cold there.

Here in San Joaquin valley, it gets very foggy when the mountains have sunny days. Then when it rains here, it's snowing in the mountains. So we found the perfect solution to our desire to going off-roading. We go down to southern California & join some of the folks who frequent on the forum, to the Mojave Desert. I never thought that I would like the desert, but I do now. It is so nice to leave our foggy, cold, wet home and go to where the sun shines all day & we can see the stars all night.

When summer time returns, we will probably go back up to the mountain here nearby and enjoy the scenery there.

We have a Rubicon 03 that we have done a few modifications to. I love it too, but also agree that it can be a gas guzzeler. We do better here in the flats of the valley...no hills, and lots of freeway driving.

I'm sure the area you live is beautiful in the summer. It will be here soon.

zman,

Yes, its in south western BC.

Jeep Mom,

In my humble opinions, it seems most of the Jeepers in Canada are out east... or at least Central I guess!!
