Where is Tumbleweed?

I have invited fellow jeeper, Don Burton, known to most as Tumbleweed, to join our wonderful community. I hope he shows up.

Meet & Greet went about as I expected. Tiff is a nice lady although I think I was anticipating someone a little different, i.e. more hardcore 'froadin type. Has a really clean and nice XJ but I would be sorry to take it out and "use" it. Don't take this wrong, she just did not fit the "picture" I had in mind. Really nice person though.
Anyway, off to load the Jeep on the trailer and head to a nearby ghost town from the early 1900's. Gonna stomp around and cool off at its 7500 ft. elevation. Rita has never been but should be fun.

I would suspect it is a bit difficult to tie her board and her together.

How were the mountains and ghost town today? Are the disks on the front helping at all?

I had a nice long winded reply and got booted off aol. ARRGH! David, top did fine and thanks for the muscle help. Blaine, had a ball in the mtns until the thunderstorms at 7700' elev. and 39 degrees. Found a 200 yard stretch of uphill, 12" rocks, off-camber, and covered with 4-6" of running water. Challenging. Found huge snow drifts but could not get more than a few feet into them.
Discs are on hold again until I decide to do all the mods needed to make the master cyl work. Major projects.

Welcome Tumbleweed.

Tumbleweed,

Welcome to JeepBBS, this is a friendly place with the exception of the flame pit if you stay away from there you ought to be alright...

I must confess that I did not take your advice and make those reservation when you suggested, and all of the rooms at the Super 8 in Cedar City were taken along with 5 or 6 other motels. We finally got a room at the Comfort Inn. Lets get together for dinner while we are there.

I have seen at least one of the paychecks of the parties involved and I think you need us along just to pay for dinner.
