Electrical tips and websites

I'm getting around to rewiring my rocklights, fog lights, backup lights etc, and was looking for places to find switches.

Here are places I'm familiar with:

graybar http://www.graybar.com/
grainger http://www.grainger.com/
waytek wire, http://www.waytekwire.com/
Digi-Key, http://www.digikey.com/
action electronics http://www.action-electronics.com/
partsexpress http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/webpa...&WebPage_ID=31

but I haven't found exactly what I'm looking for.

Anyone have any other suggestions?

I like the look and feel of the Conturas (ARB uses these) but they are abit big for where I plan to mount them.

I am looking for small, panel mount 12v illuminated when on rockers or push-on, push off switches. Low current rating is fine since all they are powering is a relay.

weather resistant would be a plus, but not an absolute requirement.

panel mount since these will be mounted in my tuffy console, but if they were smaller than the conturas and had thier own bezels that would be OK also.

tnx,

- Dan

Hi Dan,

I don't know if they would have the type of switch you're looking for but you might want to try these sites as well.

http://www.jameco.com

http://www.allelectronics.com/

http://www.mpja.com

Hope this helps you out.

Hi Frank.

Thanks for the links.

Now I have more choices...

Its a tradeoff between install ease, limited space and limited depth.

I'll scan through these and let ya'll know what I come up with.

have you thought about summit racing (store.summitracing.com)? they have quite a few different choices for switches (singles, panels, etc), and they're designed for automotive use... well in race cars anyway

just another idea-
Chuck
