Closer by Nine Inch Nails. Best song ever.

How about Burning Ring of Fire or Folsum Prison Blues by Johnny Cash?

"Slither" By velvet revolver is pretty good too.

Anything off the new Beastie Boy's album is good also (although avoid if you don't appreciate the liberal slant to the couple of political songs they have on the CD).

"Born too slow" by the Crystal Method on their new CD, Disciples of Boom is good, if you like TCM.

Just the stuff I've been listening to lately.

Don Gorske of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, has eaten over 19,000 Big Macs since 1972, having missed eating at least one per day only 7 times.

I would, but I am fresh out of free movie gift certificates. I am a freebie hunter.

Hmm... I got the Industrial/Gothic precursor version of the song, where pretty much all they sing for 7 minutes is the "I want to f... you like an animal" line.

Somehow, those 2 song titles in the same sentence paints a picture for me that I don't want to see

Concur on the CM - that CD flat out rocks.

LOL, i didn't even think about that juxtaposition. Although, those are two of my favorite songs by Mr. Cash.

I was really surprised by the TCM CD. I hadn't expected much, based on their last release, but this one was pretty strong.

The Beastie's new CD really surprised me. Aside from the political leanings in some of the songs (which is sort of new for them), the CD is very old school. If you like old school, east coast rap (early 1980s) you will like the new BB CD.

I bet McD's has spent hundreds and thousands of dollars in market research on how they can attract more OCD sufferers.

I think the McTherapy menu is just around the corner. Don't switch your lights on and off 6 times before leaving your house. Just come down and buy 1 big mac a day. Cure your agoraphobia and enjoy a tasty meal at the same time!

It's genius!

Of course, with McD's you probably have nothing to worry about, as they probably only use an unknown, beef like substance in their burgers

Thumbs down

People, I am outraged!

I just spent two and a half hours trying to figure out why my DVD recorder drive would complain about "bad media". By backtracking changes I had done to my computer, I discovered that the program that I had to install in order to download the "free songs" installed some kind of stupid "drag and drop" CD recording software that was starting up on my computer automatically and causing recording problems.

I don't like it.

I removed the culprit, and my DVD burning problems went away.

A bit of trivia here for ya:

June Carter (at the time) wrote "Burning Ring of Fire" while performing with her mother and sisters as a backup act for Mr. Cash. June wrote the song while falling in love with Johnny. June had fallen in love with a married man and the song was her release.

Does anyone remember what Johnny told June the first time they were introduced on the stage at the Grand Ole Opry?
