RE crossmember swap question
Considering options to improve my breakover angle. One thought is to swap the RE crossmember I have (rubicon version) with the "standard" RE TJ crossmember. The swap, IIRC, should gain me about 2" additional clearance.
Does anyone know if the those two crossmembers are interchangeable with regards to mounting bolt pattern?

I'm guessing that you mean swap in a pre 2003 RE transfer case/ control arm skid? If so then the answer is no they cannot be directly swapped. However, if you have some welding and cutting skills, then you can of course make the mods. I believe Nth Degree looked into doing this and even made a few prototypes but decided it wasn't cost effective. You may be able to get the drawings from them if you don't want to reinvent the wheel.
