Manual hubs on a TJ D30 w/D44 knuckles
I'm thinking about converting the D30 on my TJ to manual hubs. However, I don't really have the money for the Warn Conversion kit. I think Beast40 had mentioned to me last weekend, that you can usw D44 knuckles on the D30 and use the hubs from the D44.
If that is the case which D44 axle do I have to look for to grab the knuckles from? And what else would I need to do to make this hub conversion work? Thanks, Marty

Theres more to it then that, you would be better off putting in a set of waggy D44s and running 6 on 5.5" rims then doing what you described.
I'm not saying it can't be done but it isn't going to be cheaper then a hub conversion unless you can do it completely by yourself.
