Leon Rosser Jeep
Ordered three items some time ago, received one ok. Then received another one, which wasn’t exactly what I ordered (I ordered the shiny Skyjacker transmission pan, received standard Mopar unit, poorly packed in garbage with the filter just thrown in the box, all dusty; got charged as for a Skyjacker unit of cause; Mopar supposed to be $20 cheaper). Never received the third part, just got a message that (I assume the message was from Leon Rosser Jeep) my credit card has expired. Well da!
Conclusion: do not order from Leon Rosser Jeep, if you don’t want to wait forever, if you want to receive exactly what you ordered, or your credit card has an expiration date.

From: "Jonathan K. Shay" <jkshay@home.com> Newsgroups: rec.autos.makers.jeep+willys Sent: Thursday, August 23, 2001 8:11 PM Subject: Blasting Leon Rosser
quote:
I ordered (via the internet) a soundbar from them back in May. After about 8 weeks, I started calling for information about when it might show. It's on backorder, I'm told, and has been for quite some time. Don't have any idea when it will be shipped. (In LR's defense, my credit card is not charged until the item is shipped, and I can cancel the order at anytime prior to shipping.) Well, the soundbar finally arrived, and I love it. No problem with the product whatsoever. I ordered a cab-cover (Bestop Trail Cover) from them this past Sunday (again, via the internet). Received an e-mail notification Tuesday that my order had been processed, and was provided an order number. Keeping in mind what I went through waiting for my soundbar, I called them to check the status of the order. I was told that the trail cover is on back order, and has been since May 1. 115 days later, it's still on backorder. What really gets my goat is the fact that my e-mail confirmation made NO MENTION OF THE BACKORDER STATUS. Guess I'm going back to Quadratec (sorry I ever left...)[/quote]

I ordered David's Best Top roll-bar pads from them and paid $25.00 for overnight shipping. The item arrived two days later. Blaine got my overnight fee refunded. They swore that they shipped it on time; the shipping label proved that they were not telling the truth.

I've had bad service in returning things to them, this goes back 12 months. I personally will not buy from them unless is something proprietary that they have.
