Aloha Jeep junkies!

Hey this is my first post to this Jeep site. I'm a Former owner of a 79 CJ-5 and a 84 CJ-7. I owned the CJ-5 in Tucson Az. The CJ-7 In No Dakota and later in No. Cal. Both new at purchase. I traded the 7 in on a Corvette when a near miss on my street bike had me looking for some swift but safer transportation on the road. After Tucson and the incredible Off - Road opportunities The Bay area of Ca. was awful. All the idiot four wheelers had ruined the lands near by so all the gates to some great areas were locked. So good- bye Jeep and I bought a Corvette.
I live in So Cal now, in the desert. The Corvette is for sale, and I'm looking for another CJ. I want a true rock crawler. Not a city cruiser.
Aloha

Welcome aboard! There's lots of wheeling places in the SoCal deserts. Good luck on finding a nice Jeep, and remember...real Jeeps have square headlights!

Hi Jim and welcome to our board. If your looking to build a true rock crawler, look for a 97 up TJ {wrangler} they have the most aftermarket parts and articulate best for the most part.
