HF Tube Notcher

In the past I've notched tube with a chop saw and grinder. Works, but not very well and is a lot of work.

I don't use a notcher often enough to justify dropping a couple hundred on one, but realised that I needed something to get a good notch in the lower links I'm building. To my surprise, the $40 HF notcher works surprisingly well.

It's rated to 2" tube and I needed to notch 2"x.25 wall DOM to mate to a 2.5" Jonny Joint. This was definately pushing the limits of the HF notcher but it handled it no prob

Clearly this tool is not even in the same league as the high dollar notchers that are available, but if you infrequently need a notcher, this tool works surprisingly well
