I think I was about 12 when it dawned on me that the "fence post puller jack" was indeed the Hi-lift jack!

Uh, what's a fence post?
I actually tried to use the winch to pull out a small (2" dia.) tree and it darn near pulled my Jeep underground! Jeff

I will admit my stupidity.
This Summer I pulled out an old fence, boy is that backbreaking. Wiggling and digging. wiggling and digging. Never even occurred to me that I could use the HiLift until I went on there website long after for something else and saw that they also sell the attachment. I even thought of ways to get my Jeep in my backyard to yank them out. That of course would have been bad, if my Wife caught me. Hey, I'm from a city back East and Advil cures those pains. Now if you want to talk "Snow Removal", I'm your man. You know, I recall a special attachment for a Hi-Lift that was made just for the purpose of pulling fence-posts. You can buy it in all the local agricultural supply stores around here.
Anyhow, if you want to discover a thousand other possible/potential uses for your Hi-Lift jack other than changing a flat tire, check this site out; http://www.maasdam.com/jackmate/ One little attachment can transform your Hi-Lift into a winch, a crushing/clamp device, a spreading device, or simply a clawfoot for jacking on unstable surfaces such as rocks. I'll be adding one of these to my inventory of safety equipment soon. Justin

H/R--I didn't know they made an "attachment", I just wrapped a chain around the bottom of the post

They're my next door neighbors. I'm suppose to be a dealer for them but they need to get their prices lower first http://www.dehesa4x4.com/bkilby/ |
