Bent drive shaft: Re bend, or re place
So I'm thinking my front DS is bent. Actually, I'm pretty sure of it. Do I pay to have it rebent, or, do I simply buy a new one? Are there any good DS shops that any one recommends? Should I Tom Woods it? Or should I think something else?

If it is actually bent, I’d say have it straightened out. It should be twice as less money as buying a new cheap driveshaft. And while you have the driveshaft for service, you can still drive the jeep on pavement.
To determine if it is bent, see, if you can raise the front of the jeep, and start slowly spinning the driveshaft, by hand, concentrating your sight on a stationary object, looking through the edge of the shaft where you think it got bent. If the driveshaft is bend, you will see the edge of the driveshaft shifting back and forth as you turn…

It just needs to be re-tubed, and re-balanced. Any competent driveshaft shop should be able to handle it. Up here it runs around 135.00 to re-tube one. No big deal. Let me know if you want me to drop it off at the shop for you.
It is not who you know, It is who knows you

Depends on where it is bent - I bent the spline shaft on mine beyond repair and needed a new one. While you are at it, have the cv replaced - the stock cv is POS as it is not lubable and tends to dry out. To do both of these and have the DS re-balanced cost me $180 at a local shop in Pomona.
