Thumbs up Cage Updates

I will be pulling my cage, updating and re-inforcing it in the upcoming weeks.

I am redoing the spreaders, triangulating the rear hoops, fully welding the main hoop and side bar connections, and adding gussetts and grab handles from PSC.

Look for pictures and info in a few weeks.

Went a different route.....

The Jeep is at the local race car shop having new tubing bent and coped for my cage changes.

Don't look for anything radical.

Getting the rollcage out with the PSC front is not a 2 man job.

It's out.

But man did it suck!

The top cross bar and spreaders are cut out, and I'm sanding down what was left by the sawzall.

The paint has been burned away from all bolted together joints so that it can be welded up solid.

The new bars have been test fitted and all looks good.

I'm working on some last minute changes.....dunno if they're gonna work, but I'm working on them with Blaine's help.

Lots of sanding and grinding is ahead of me.

Learn to weld a little better. Saves time on grinding and sanding

Yeah. I'll try a little harder next time.
