Haven't tried it yet. That's still pure tungsten.

And those are the same settings exactly. I changed nothing.

Are you guys running a Tri Mix ?


What machine are you using ? 185 ?

Straight argon with helium on stand-by for when we're really pushing it.

185? Nope.

It's a beast at a full 625 amps.

It's an older Miller Syncrowave 550.

Those welds were made set at 300 amps, but I have no idea where it was really running. Sometimes it'd be nice if you could work the pedal, weld, and still be able to watch the output guages on the welder to see how many amps you're using and how that relates to the weld.
