Yea! The New Compressor Runs!

I got a 60 gallon upright at Home Depot for $359 plus tax. $388 out the door.

Home Depot has a current sale where if you spend over $300 on compressors, nailers, etc., you get a $40 gift card.

It's normally $399.

Worth every penny I say.

Twin cylinder, fan cooled, 7hp, 135 PSI, 100% Duty Cycle, 11.8 SCFM @ 40 PSI and 10.3 SCFM @ 90 PSI.

I was concerned about the low PSI.....I wanted a 150 or 175 PSI compressor.

The cheapest 175 I found was well over $800.....and the nearest 150 was $120 more than I paid for mine. And it was a single cylinder. I just couldn't justify the almost $10 per PSI price difference between the two.

This twin keeps up with all my air tools, even my air hungry 20,000 RPM 4" grinder. That tool pushes some air.

I am just thrilled. The difference is night and day.

And it's much, much quieter.

In at 100 and out at 135. I run my regulator at 90 and the compressor easily keeps up/pulls ahead.
