Special invitation from a Special Competitor

I have been approached by a very special competitor with a very special invitation for members of our board.

He would like to set a date in the early fall at the start of the season in JV and set up a short but difficult rock crawling course with cones in one of the rock gardens out there.

Then he would like to invite those of us who will never get a chance to do so, to hop in his moon buggy and drive the course.

What do ya'll think? Who would be able to make it?

What a wonderful invitation!

Kinda removes any doubt as to why I enjoy this hobby so much, it's the people I have met.

While I won't be able to take this find invitation up, it would be wonderful for other to and report back.

What an oppertunity.

God Bless,

Frank

Just curious Blaine but why would a competitor want to put folks in his buggy right before the start of the season? Its a great and very gracious offer but what if it breaks? Has that contingency been discussed?

That's very near the end of the comp season and when I brought the issue up, he said that if he couldn't hurt it, we didn't stand a chance.

He's run it for 2 years in some brutal comps with no major breakage.

Isn't this akin to flying first class and then never being satisfied again with coach?

I would like to go to JV.

If you end up with more folks than time, I guess I can wait 'til I get one of my own.

I won't be able to make it down; so Blaine-you just take a little cruise for me and have Kat take a pic or two. How's that?
And buy the competitor a coffee or cold drink on me-what a great offer.

I'll probably end up altering side of the road signs and figure out a way to change directions posted here so that I'm the only one that shows up and get to drive all day long. If I can't arrange that, slashed tires may become a reality.
