had to shut down today...snow on the pepper again!PICS!
Got in and hardly ANY of my people could make it today. They are calling for up between 4-12 MORE inches of snow today. The city is mostly shut down. I'm glad my boss agreed with me to close it down. The safety of my people is more important than selling a few ribs and burgers on a day like this.
We have over a foot this morning. This town is about shut down. It snowed for over 14hours straight yesterday and I think we officially got 11.something inches, a one-day record. WHere's the global warming? I made it, but it was fun getting out of the neighborhood this morning! Here's a few pics:    MORE snow on my pepper!

I miss that.
 I've been running around outside this whole week in shorts and a t-shirt. I'm not sure how I feel about that either.  I miss the snow, but not the bitter cold and wind. We haven't seen a single flake all winter.

We had our fun last week. Official total was 30", with drifts from 3-4 feet. I got a call at 5am from the emergency assistance group I volunteer for to bring in workers to the local hospital. I got to cut the fresh tracks through the neighborhoods to pick them up (luckily the major roads were mostly plowed).

PS - mid 70's today at my Son's All Star Soccer Tourney - shorts and a t-shirt...

Snow....who needs it?
I was out wheelin' yesterday in blue jeans and a long sleeve shirt (with the sleeves rolled up). I sure do love Phoenix winters.
