Take a Picture of Doves........... He he!
We have some doves that nest in our back yard. Did you know that doves are small pigeons?
The pairs breed for life and both parents incubate the eggs (usually two) and feed the young with partly digested food mixed with a secretion from the crop. This is called pigeon "milk". I've been trying to get some good pictures of them and here is my best so far: I don't know why the big doves eye looks like a heart in this picture. It's usually just round. Maybe that's why they are the bird of "love and peace".   This is the best feeding picture so far. The parent always has it's eyes closed for obvious reasons.  A good telephoto lens sure come in handy. Eh, Stu?
