Of course you'll need the curtain as well

If you have to stand on something and push that hard, I'd say you have other issues

At work, I noticed shoe prints on the seat and I always wondered how the shoe prints got there! I am now enlightened. (Not that I want to be).

That thing would just make it uncomfortable to sit long enough to read my Jeep magazines and catalogs!

Kat,

some asians I think philipinos are known for standing on the seat, my mother reported the same thing when a few new employees where she works started.

I don't think that builders think about this before hand, hence the broken seats in gas stations, resturants, stores etc...

My wife and I stopped at a roadside restaurant in northern Italy, kind of out in the sticks. I went into the men's room and just as I saw the "toilet" I heard my wife shrieking through the wall as she saw the same kind of toilet. The restroom was nice, pretty modern, clean, all tiled, but the toilet was simply a hole in the tiled floor with two larger foot-shaped tiles on either side of the hole in the floor.

Position your feet in the tiled foot-outlines and, well you know the rest... heheh

I went into a similar public bathroom to the one Jerry described in the southern U.S.S.R. about 13 years ago. Instead of just one hole with footpads there were about 10 ... with no stalls!!!! Talk about getting stage fright!

We dubbed this elimination method the "HOVER POOP".

I think it's the vision I now have of all this that scares the **** outta me. Hey! Maybe that's the idea.
Thanks Kat. I feel the need to check the toilet seats at work for footprints.

Jeff, you haven?t heard the funniest part yet. The reason that bathroom was like that is because somebody had stolen the toilets!

The truth is, that's the natural way to go. They say the people who use that method never have hemorrhoids. A little foot stool in front of the modern day throne is also suppose to be a good thing. Just what I've read.......

I would think the "landing" of expelled particles would leave much of the water on the outside of the fixture. How could that be any good.

Very true - they neglect to discuss the "splash factor"

In addition to Natures Curtain they should sell some type of Natures Spash Shield to place on the floor.

Talking

...and then theres the story of the guy who went into a public bathroom was taking a crap in the position illustrated on the photograph above and in walked the security guard. The guard made his normal check, looked around, looked under all the doors, saw no legs with the pants down, and so locked the bathroom and left for the front desk...

The night passed and the "squating chalupa dropper" was only released the next morning when the bathroom was opened again!!!

Another one of those urban myths? Funny anyway...
