New Addition ! ! !
I've been home now for about one full day now, as my wife and I have spent the last few in the hospital...with our new baby boy ! ! !

There have been a number of changes for my family in the last year, and the best so far has been becoming a father. He's healthy and has a great set of lungs Born 9/16/03 @ 3:13am, 7 lbs 14 oz and 20.3" long.

Just wanted to share my *new addition* to the family.

Thanks all, I actually got about 5 or so hours of sleep last night! So he seems to be calming down. I can't let the wife get up by herself, so I sit up with her.

He's surely to be a wrenchin' Jeep loving kid (at least I hope so) And I've already been looking at 50cc motorcycles, trying to figure out how soon I should bring one home And the fishing rod and reel, and the hunting gear, and the.... I can't wait!

We didn't find out the sex prior to him being born, which was a huge surprise for us (hearing the nurse say, "you've got a son" about floored me). And we kept names a secret until he was born, and everyone close to us was there. We named him after my father, Thomas. I don't recall ever seeing my dad cry, but he sure did when we told him our son's name.

Thanks again for the congrats, I'm about as excited as a person can be.




BTW, my signature basically means "my name is Aron O'Proinntigh" (Irish spelling of my name).
