which way does the bearing go on the rear 44 shaft?
I got my new AlloyUSA 44 shafts. I also have disc retainer plates, bearings, seals and collars. Which way does the bearing go?
I believe the order is: retainer plate (lip toward the splines) --> seal (which way does it go?) --> bearing --> collar. Right? |

The bearing is placed so that the race is nearest the splines. Look through his sight and you'll see some good pictures on how everything is supposed to line up.

The lip is for the disc brakes, the flat ones for drums. From Stu's site:
